I feel like this game OBVIOUSLY leans heavily in the SJW LGBTQ community type of stuff and the writing IMO doesn't make any sense in a lot of places.
Multiple small details in the world like rainbow colored pride walkways in the city to Ellie’s lesbian relationship with a ethnically diverse female. Who happens to be pregnant from (I guess) her last boyfriend… This game loves pregnant woman let me tell you. Not one but TWO pregnant woman dramas going on here. The estrogen flows like the mighty Nile in this game. One could drown in its rapids.
Ellie gets all upset about killing a pregnant woman in self defense after learning her Ethnic girlfriend Dina is pregnant and even though Ellie has done and witnessed unspeakable acts over the entire course of her life. Ellie has killed more people than John Wayne Gacy in her life. She literally chopped a man to pieces with a machete in the last game. She's killed numerous woman along the way and never once was the possibility of being pregnant a problem UNTIL the story called for it to be.
Abby is a WLF soldier first and foremost. She has a job to do that requires traversing the post apocalyptic lands in full gear. Where she might have to save someone's life or kill someone. When you work out like that, you get sore. See when you lift weights and build muscle, you cause small tears in your muscles from stressing them while you lift. Them healing is what makes them bigger. That being said, if your working out this hard to get this big there isn't much else you are going to be capable of doing. Which is pretty bad when its a post apocalyptic world where you have to be in fighting shape at a moments notice. You cant afford to go work your arms till they hurt so you can go into the field already fucked up. If Abby was that big all she would have time for is eating chicken and egg whites, working out like a crazy person and resting till her muscles quit hurting enough to lift some more. Doesn't make for a very good game experience. My point in all of this is Abby’s size is unrealistic and is only slightly immersive if you are dumb enough to believe that a female is going to get this big in a post apocalyptic world. Where everything is supposed to be scarce. Including whey protein. Which Abby seems to not have had any shortage on. Judging from her He-Man shoulders she looks like she does about 5 sets of 250 military presses with 70 lbs dumbbells, right after she snorts a line of hydroxy cut off the counter and eats a whole rotisserie chicken.
If the game was just playing as Ellie at least I could enjoy being Ellie and whooping ass. The best parts of the game is just playing as Ellie sneaking around bad guys and infected and fucking em up like a little bush ninja.
The truth is in this world TLOU is set in survival comes at an ugly price. People die. The value of life is ultra thin. You cant trust people outside of your group so easily. And if you got to kill to live, than that's what you do. This is a post apocalyptic world set over 10 years past the outbreak. No government no standing law. Just people getting by however they can. Ellie has grown up in this world. She's killed countless times, risked her life, seen loved ones die in horrible ways. Why the FUCK would she give a DAMN at this point whether a person she killed is pregnant or not? She wouldn't! But because its girl power and woman clearly wrote the script of course there has to be a pregnancy drama element mixed into this game about post apocalyptic survival as its core element. This shit does not belong in a game.
Look, I know woman CAN get this big, but its an unbelievably hard commitment to pull off. It takes being a total gym bro. Buying the supplements, eating a extremely high protein/low sugar diet. Doing HARD work out sessions 3–4 times a week MINIMUM. And lets put this all into context.
Gameplay wise I would rate it high as fuck. Near perfect. Probably a 9/10
I can get past Joels death, I can get passed the ending. I can get past the lesbian relationship elements and the pregnant woman drama. But what I cant get past is making me play as Abby for 8 god damn hours and then making me beat up on Ellie who was in the right for wanting to kill Abby. Whose entire side was the clear bad guys all game long.
What’s one positive trait you’ve gained because of BPD?
Over all ide have to give TLOU2 a 5/10 because the writing is horrible, the story sucks, but the game play by itself, is fucking amazing. This game has some of the best AI I have ever seen in any video game. I mean they aren't perfect. But this AI is leagues ahead of most games with stealth in them. This is the most human like AI you will get in 2025. It makes the gameplay very immersive.
Then it pulls you into some cutscene with two lesbians talking about being pregnant again and it just feels like a woke Netflix drama for people like Rachel Zegler and my immersion in this world is instantly broken by SJW virtue signaling within the story.
A lot of girl boss stuff too. Almost all of the female characters in this game carry themselves with confidence and assertiveness. While the male characters are much more passive with their personalities. Joel is really the only likable male in this game. Jesse has no real personality and neither does Tommy in this game. Speaking of Jesse and Tommy and Joel NONE of the male characters in this game get a respectful death of any kind. No heroics, no sacrifices for the survival of others, just now he's here now he's not girl power whacking dudes like the mafia.
In what ways Indian parents are destroying their children's life?
And bro the first fucking thing I see is those Gauss Cannon arms with those Arnold Schwarzenegger pecks in a tank top. I'm like woah now… how tf is she this big? Why does this woman have vin diesels torso? she looks like Macho Man Randy Savage tried out for a part as Lara Croft and now you got Angelina Swolie.
I feel like this is a game made for people who like to virtue signal. This game really crams every SJW trope in your face as you play it.
And Abby… we got to talk about Abby. Abby is a PAIN to play as. At first when I played as Abby early on I was like this isn't so bad. I can kind of get behind this I guess. Then I got past Ellies segment in Seattle and got to play as Abby FORREAL….
What are some good methods for dealing with other people's loud, crying kids on long flights?
I mean I guess its not the story really as much as the way the executed everything.
But story wise… that's where my review gets polarizing. I really dislike the story in TLOU Part 2.
